Nolans Incorporated observes its professional obligations of confidentiality and legal privilege from the moment of first contact. No information disclosed during an initial consultation will be shared with any third party without your express consent. All engagements that follow are equally subject to strict confidentiality. Once a formal mandate is in place, the full protection of attorney-client privilege attaches to all communications between you and Nolans Incorporated — meaning that those communications are legally protected from disclosure and cannot be compelled in any proceedings without your consent.
Yes. Where a matter warrants it and travel is practical, we are willing to attend at the client's premises or at a location of the client's choosing. We act for clients across South Africa and are accustomed to managing matters remotely where face-to-face attendance is not required. Travel arrangements and any associated costs are discussed and agreed upon at the outset.
No. Where we are already acting for a party in a matter, we will not accept an instruction from an opposing or adverse party in that same matter. We observe strict conflict-of-interest protocols and will advise you at the outset if any conflict exists that prevents us from accepting your instruction.
